Unpopular opinion: Meal Prep Is Fun! I know, it can seem daunting, exhausting and down right scary! But having a weekly meal prep plan with simple meal prep recipes will not only save you time during the week, but it will also help to decrease the amount of food waste you make, and can save you money by decreasing the amount of impulse buying you do!

I made you guys a simple meal prep recipes video to teach you how to meal prep delicious and unassuming meals that will have you excited to make your meals ahead of time! You won’t find these recipes on any other easy weekly meal prep videos or websites: they are unique to Recipe Hippie, and I know that you are going to love them!

So let’s dive right in!

The Simple Meal Prep Recipes:

First of all, I just want to say congratulation! The first step towards meal prepping is always the hardest, but I think that you will be pleasantly surprised by how easy and NOT boring these unique meal prep ideas are! We will be making 1 breakfast, 3 dinners and 1 lunch/dinner option.

  • Breakfast: Overnight Oats topped with homemade granola and fresh berries
  • 3 Delicious Dinners: 
  •  1.  Sun-dried tomato pesto pasta with veggie of choice
  • 2.  Oven baked dijon & honey granola crusted salmon with veggie & side of choice
  • 3.  Freezable tuscan chicken stovetop recipe with veggie & side of choice
  • 1 Lunch/Dinner Option: Boiled pasta for use in pasta salads, stir fry’s and/or Italian dishes!

How Many People Do These Weekly Meal Prep Recipes Feed?

These dishes can serve a family of two for 3-4 days.  This is not meant to be a full week of meals, rather a few Sunday meal prep ideas that you can whip together on a weekend afternoon to take some of the work load off during the week! It shouldn’t take you more than 1.5-2 hours.

If you have a larger family, just double the ingredients!
