This bright and fruity cucumber blackberry gin cocktail is so refreshing and delightful! Succulent and juicy blackberries are blended with cool cucumber and fresh squeezed lemon juice, then strained and mixed with your favorite gin and fizzy tonic! It’s a foolproof spring cocktail that is perfect to sip while swinging in a hammock or preparing for a warm garden brunch party!
How Do You Make This Blackberry Cucumber Gin And Tonic Recipe?
I think that, besides the lovely flavor, the best part about this cocktail is that it takes less than 5 minutes to make! And it is GREAT for a crowd cocktail recipe! Just double or triple the ingredients and, voila! You’ve got enough fruity spring cocktails for everyone!
Start by tossing the blackberries into your blender, along with the cucumbers, 2 tbsp of water, and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Blend until completely blended, about 30 seconds.
Place a thin wire strainer over a bowl and pour the blackberry cucumber mixture onto the strainer. Using a spatula or the back of a spoon, press the mixture into the strainer until all of the juice fills up in the bowl below.
Pour the juice into a cocktail shaker. Now you are going to add the gin. You can use as much or as little as you desire, but for me, I used 2 shots, or 3 fluid ounces, to keep it light.
Drop in a few ice cubes, and shake well.
Pour over ice, and top with tonic water! Garnish with cucumber slices, blackberries, and/or mint! Enjoy!

Substitutions:
This blackberry gin cocktail can be made using a variety of different ingredients! So if you are missing one of the ingredients, fear not!
BLACKBERRIES | Any juicy berry will work for this recipe! Raspberries, strawberries and blueberries are all great options. |
GIN | If gin isn’t your thing, or you are serving this for someone who doesn’t like gin, you can absolutely substitute it for a high quality vodka. |
LEMON | For the specific gin that I used, there were hints of lemon peel in the gin. So lemon was the obvious choice for me. But lime can work equally well! |
TONIC WATER | Not everyone loves tonic water, and I get it. I absolutely love it, but I can see why some people don’t. If you want to substitute it out, try club soda or even kombucha! Just note that this will change the flavors of this drink. |
Cranberry Lime Coffee Tonic
This cranberry lime coffee tonic recipe is incredible! What sounds better than fizzy, bubbly coffee? When tonic water is mixed with cold brew coffee or cold espresso, MAGIC happens. You get a delicious and effervescent morning beverage that is both refreshing and fun! Just plain old coffee and tonic are totally fine…but think about all …
