As the cool spring nights begin getting replaced with steamy humid ones, our palates for wine begin to change as relaxation, sandy toes, and lots of sunshine set in. Die hard red fans can be seen sipping frosty cabernets on their back porches. All wine lovers start their night cap just as the sun begins to set around 7pm. And millennial are still drinking their White Claws! (lol!) We start adding new flavors to our wines, such as lemon and honey. And our inner mixologist comes out to play as we pour our wines over seltzers, herbs and muddled berries.

Summer is exceptional, and so is this list of the best summer wines of 2020! Vanderpump Rosé: This peachy rosé from the queen of Bravo herself, Lisa Vanderpump, is one of our favorites. Despite its medium dark complexion, this rosé is extremely light and wet, yet lacks that sweet/sour taste that many dark rosé’s render. This is the PERFECT rosé for your next beach day!

19 Crimes Rosé: This salmon colored rosé is fruity, flavorful and strong. If you are looking for a rosé to drink with a hearty meal, this is the rosé for you. With strawberry and red cherry notes, 19 Crimes rosé is lively and full of pizzazz!

I would call this rosé more of a state of mind than a go to rosé, but it does offer nice dry hints of watermelon and is low in sulfer and sugar. You know what that means: NO HANGOVER! This characteristic also makes it great for a beach day.
