Here are some kitchen essentials and other items that I literally could NOT live without. These are all products that I truly stand behind, and products that I think you will enjoy as much as I have.
PRODUCTS I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT:
Garlic Peeler : If you are still fumbling around with your garlic cloves and struggling to get the shell off…you NEED this. You put the garlic cloves in, roll it on the counter for about 5 seconds and the shell just falls off. We all know garlic is the nemesis of the finger nail, so save your nails some trouble and try i!
Nikon D750 DLSR Camera: I am currently shooting with a Nikon D750 DSLR camera. Being fairly new to photography in general, I found it easy to use and the image quality is AMAZING! I highly recommend this camera to anyone looking to upgrade to a DLSR, who doesn’t want to spent multiple thousands(3,000+) on a camera!
Nespresso VertuoPlus Coffee and Espresso Maker: The crema that forms at the top of the coffee & espresso after it is brewed is absolutely amazing, given all you have to do is put a pod in the machine and press a button. Nespresso pods come in a variety of different flavors and different strengths, so customizing your beverage is easy. The milk frother that this specific model comes with makes making lattes, macchiatos and creamy espresso shots. It’s so simple, a caveman can do it! (thanks to Geico for that one!) Let me put it this way: Do you have 60 seconds in the morning?…then you now have the ability make yourself a quality brewed espresso/coffee with a frothy foam topper using the Nespresso coffee and espresso maker.
Microplane Zester : This zester is the best one I have used. The blade is designed with a specific tooth set that takes the zesty rind directly off the citrus fruit, while leaving behind the bitter white pith. You can use it to zest citrus or to grate parmesan, ginger, turmeric, garlic, cinnamon and much more. The best part? ITS MADE IN THE USA! See how I use mine to create my ‘Creamy Citrus Chicken‘ recipe!
Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Signature Round Dutch Oven, 5.5 qt., Meringue: I find that aesthetically, I like to serve family style dishes in colorful cookware. I believe it adds a more ‘homey’ feel to the dish. This classic cast iron dutch oven evenly distributes heat and has a smooth enamel that resists chipping and cleans easily. Definitely a kitchen essential! And there are over 7 colors to choose from! Mine is orange, but check out this Marine Blue! See how I use mine in my ‘One Pot Spanish Chicken And Rice‘ recipe!
Cuisineart Smart Stick Hand Blender : Trust me, when you need it, YOU NEED IT. This hand blender has never done me wrong. I use it in my Cauliflower Butter Chicken recipe, and it works wonders. It is so sharp and fast that it literally pureed my cauliflower in about 30 seconds. You can use this to make smoothies, soups, pesto, chimichurri, whipped cream and much more! In comparison to an actual blender, the hand blender is much easier to clean: run it under some hot water and a little soap and place it back in the cabinet. Definitely a staple in my kitchen. KitchenAid Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt Head Stand Mixer with Pouring Shield Aqua Sky- When my fiance bought me my first KitchenAid stand mixer, I actually had no clue what it was. I thought it was mostly used for baking, which I do not do a lot of…boy was I wrong! This stand mixer has 15 attachments available, including a pasta roller and maker, a food processor, a spiralizer, a meat grinder, a slicer/shredder and more! It is 100% the number one tool you need in your kitchen. Isn’t this color to die for?!
Slicer Shredder Attachment by InnoMoon : And on that note, I ALSO can’t live without my Kitchen Aid stand mixer shredder attatchment. This is the exact same one that I have, and it is super affordable. I promise, you will use it once and seriously wonder why you waited this long to get one!
Oxo Garlic Press : So I could not find the exact model I use, but I have used alot of garlic presses in my life, and Oxo has made the easiest and most durable garlic press I have seen. I’ve thrown it in the dishwasher probably over 200X, and it still looks brand new. This model has a built in cleaner; if you have ever used a garlic press, you know how annoying it is to try to clean out the mashed garlic. You end up getting it all under your nails and you smell for days. This takes that out of the equation! Highly recommend.
MacKenzie-Childs Flower Market Enamel Tea Kettle: I just can’t get over how great all of MacKenzie-Childs designs are. I have been purchasing her products for years, and her classic and sophisticated style has never changed. It has only gotten better. Her ‘flower market‘ collection is absolutely PERFECT for the spring and summer months, where as her ‘Royal Check” collection give off more of a fall/winter vibe.
All-Clad D3 Stainless Cookware, 12-Inch Fry Pan with Lid. I have recently upgraded my skillet game to All-Clad, and there is no going back. The New York Times named it ‘The Best Skillet For 2020‘, and I have to agree. The food cooks so evenly, and the size of the heated surface area is exactly what I need.
