Velvety chocolate mousse is made by blending avocado with melted chocolate and cocoa powder! Make sure your avocados are very ripe for the proper consistency.
1/2cupmelted chocolate(opt for bittersweet organic for antioxidants)
1/4cupcocoa powder
1 1/2tspvanilla extract
1/8tspsalt
1/4cupmilk of choice

Instructions
Melt chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler. If microwaving, place chocolate pieces into a microwave safe bowl and add about 1 tsp of milk or butter. Microwave in 30 second increments until melted, stirring in between to prevent burning.
Place the ripe avocado into the bottom of a food processor or blender. Add the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt, and milk. Blend on high for at least 60 seconds. Scrape the sides of the bowl and blend again until everything is even and there are no chunks of avocado left.
Scoop the mousse into a bowl and cover it with a lid or plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least two hours for the mousse to set. When you are ready to eat it, divide the mousse into bowls and sprinkle with toppings of your choice!
*NOTE: If you refrigerate it overnight there may be some liquid that forms at the top. This is normal, and you can just dump the liquid it into the sink or mix it back into the mousse. I wouldnt let it sit for more than 24 hours.
