1tspinstant coffee this is optional to help develop the flavor
2tspvanilla extract
1tspbaking powder
2eggs
2/3cupmilk chocolate chips, plus extra to sprinkle on top
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a food processor or blender, process the 2 cans of rinsed black beans, baking powder, honey, coconut oil, cocoa powder, salt, instant coffee (optional), and vanilla extract. Blend until a paste forms.
Once a paste is formed, add the eggs. Process or blend again until smooth and fully combined, at least 30 seconds. Add the chocolate chips and mix with a spatula.
Now pour your bean mixture into a parchment paper lined 9" by 9" baking dish, and use a spatula to make sure the top is even and flat. Sprinkle with as many chocolate chips as you would like!
Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out without any batter on it. Remove and let cool at least 15 minutes before cutting. You can serve them warm, but I personally enjoy how fudgy they get once refrigerated!
